The driver fled, driving through a fence on North Peters Avenue and continued through a nearby field where he struck a second fence and an unoccupied vehicle. The driver continued to accelerate his vehicle in an attempt to flee. FDLPD Officers responded with an armored rescue vehicle and were able to stop the vehicle and take the driver into custody. A 20-year-old Fond du Lac man was arrested on charges of Operating While Intoxicated, Fleeing, and Recklessly Endangering Safety. The incident remains under investigation.
