People are be interested in running for county offices can now circulate nomination papers. City Clerk Lisa Freiberg says the positions of County Clerk, Treasurer and Register of Deeds are up for election in November. Candidates have until June 3rd to collect at least 500 signatures. “Usually it (deadline) is June first however that falls on a Saturday,” Freiberg said. Freiberg is running for reelection. Freiberg has served in the clerk’s office for 26 years, the last 16 years as clerk.
