Safety First is back! The community is invited to this fun and free family event on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam to cap off National Hospital Week. See a MedFlight helicopter land on the MMC-BD Emergency Department’s Helipad, inspect ambulance and fire trucks up close and meet local EMTs, firefighters and police officers. DNR safety specialists will also be on hand with a boat and snowmobile. There will be many interactive booths featuring MMC-BD service lines as well as community organizations such as Dodge County Humane Society, Ma Paws and Me, ARDC of Dodge County, Lions Club vision screening and more. WBEV’s famous brat fry will be onsite from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tri-County Twisters 4-H will be holding a bake sale. Rain or shine, come enjoy this spring event with your family and learn how to make your life safer and healthier. The event will be located in the MMC-BD parking lot and inside the first floor lobby and conference center.
