The Oshkosh-based alt-pop music group The Astronomers biggest concert to date is slated for this week in Green Bay. The Astronomers perform Friday night at The Meyer Theater in downtown Green Bay. Producer Ben Baker and frontman and songwriter, Michael Stensland says the concert coincides with the group’s highly anticipated release of their “Not Forever More” album. Zach Paradise, who sings on the popular song Skywalking, will open for the group. The group is comprised of Stensland, Baker, drummer Josh Guy and Ike Holzmann on bass. All are Fond du Lac natives and Fond du Lac High School graduates. Many of their songs have been played on the radio. The group went on a nationwide tour last year. Tickets are still available online on the Astronomers’ or Meyer Theater website for $20, or $25 at the door. The concert starts at 7:30pm Friday.
