A Fond du Lac man convicted in a Fond du Lac fire bombing incident is going to prison. Fond du Lac judge Anthony Nehls on Friday sentenced Elliot Schneider to 18 years in prison. Schneider was convicted of property damage by use of explosives, recklessly endangering safety and bail jumping. A co defendant Jonas Johnson was earlier convicted and is awaiting sentencing. Nobody was injured in the mailbox explosion and small fire near the front door of a home on Doty Street in July of 2016.
