5-29-24 new assistant principal at fdl high school

The Fond du Lac School Board has approved the hiring of a new assistant principal at Fond du Lac High School.  Fond du Lac High School English teacher Steven Rosencrans will  begin his duties effective August 8th.  He replaces Mackenzie Olszewski who is the new assistant principal at Woodworth Middle School.   Rosencrans began is education career as a literacy teacher at an Oshkosh middle school, taught English at Menasha High School for ten years before joining the Fond du Lac High School staff.   He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with majors in secondary education and broad field social science and minors in history and English/Language Arts.  He also earned a Master of Business Administration from UW-Oshkosh.  “We are excited to welcome Steven Rosencrans to our leadership team,”  Fond du Lac School District superintendent, Dr. Jeff Fleig, said.  “Mr. Rosencrans has shown exceptional leadership skills as part of our high school staff and we look forward to his positive impact in this new role.”   “I am excited to step into the role of assistant principal,”  Rosencrans said.  “I look forward to collaborating with our dedicated staff, students and community to  change student outcomes and cultivate a positive school culture.”
