Nobody was injured and a Fond du Lac man is in custody following an armed standoff. Shortly before 7pm Sunday police were called to a Donahue Court apartment for a report that a man had pointed a gun and pistol whipped an individual and then barricaded himself in the apartment. According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s log there were a couple of children in the apartment. Police blocked off the area and the SWAT team was called to the scene. About three hours later the suspect surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident. He was transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail.
