North Fond du Lac police are investigating a report of gunshots fired and a pet dog being injured over the weekend. On Saturday police were called to a residence in the 1800 block of Minnesota Avenue for a report of two dogs fighting in a yard and a citizen firing a gun. According to police a dog was transported to an emergency facility but it was unclear if the dog had been shot and the injuries were unknown. No people were injured.
