WHAT: Fond du Lac Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is fundraising to support the Wreaths Across America. They will be hosting a booth at the FDL Downtown Farmers’ Market to bring awareness to the yearlong mission of the organization which is to Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom. The booth will feature life-sized cutouts of American Revolution Patriots, George Washington and Betsy Ross and two (2) colonial children ready for picture taking selfies. There will be children’s activities and Trivia about the Declaration of Independence for all ages.

About Wreaths Across America
Wreaths Across America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, which was begun by Maine businessman Morrill Worcester in 1992. The organization’s yearlong mission – Remember, Honor, Teach – is carried out in part each year by coordinating wreath- laying ceremonies in December at thousands of veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and beyond.
