The Fond du Lac School District (FDLSD) is proud to announce that Holiday Automotive has been selected for the 2023-24 Friend of Education Award. Each year, the FDLSD, in partnership with the Fond du Lac Education Association, recognizes an individual or group as a Friend of Education. “Holiday Automotive has been a strong community partner in Fond du Lac and the Fond du Lac School District is yet another beneficiary of Holiday’s community commitment,” said Dr. Jeff Fleig, FDLSD Superintendent. “Their support for our district began over 50 years ago, marking half a century as our drivers’ education partner.” Holiday Automotive has consistently supported our community, providing 50 years of continuous assistance to drivers’ education. Holiday also provides vehicles for the homecoming parade honorees. As further examples of being a true community partner, Holiday contributed to our Cardinal Stadium project and has been a longstanding sponsor of the Fondy Cardinals Athletic Boosters, supporting our hockey and other sports teams for many years. Since 1998, the Fond du Lac School District and the Fond du Lac Education Association have joined together annually to choose a recipient for the Friend of Education Award. This accolade recognizes individuals or organizations that make substantial contributions to our district’s mission. Last year, the award went to the National Exchange Bank Foundation for its continuous support of our learning community.
