More staff assaults at the Waupun Correctional Institution. Sources tell WFDL news there were three staff assaulted on second shift Thursday. In one incident four staff members were involved in an altercation with an inmate and a civilian staff member received injuries. The incidents come a day after a correctional officer was treated at a hospital for head injuries after he was attacked by an inmate in the prison’s restricted housing unit Wednesday.
