Fond du Lac police are continuing their investigation into a shooting incident that sent a Fond du Lac man to the hospital. Thirty two year old Ansheretta West turned herself in to police last week and faces a charge of attempted first degree intentional homicide. Police Chief Aaron Goldstein says the shooting occured June 8 on a porch outside a residence on Forest Avenue. Goldstein says the victim was shot in the thigh with a 38 milimeter handgun. He says blood was found on a vehicle belonging to the suspect. Goldstein says investigators do not believe the shooting was random and that it happened following an argument between the suspect and victim the day before. West made her initial court appearance last week and bail was set at $250,000 cash.
