A Lomira man was arrested following a violent domestic incident in the village of Lomira and stand-off with police. The victim was able to safely escape but the suspect refused to exit the residence. Deputies established a perimeter on the residence during the investigation. That investigation established probable cause of felony assault charges as well as the use of a firearm during the incident. Deputies on the scene continued to try and convince the suspect to exit the residence to be taken into custody, but he refused to comply. After 12 hours the suspect exited the residence and was taken into custody. Anthony Johnson faces multiple charges including strangulation suffocation, battery and disorderly conduct.
