City offices in the City/County Government Center will be closed on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th in observance of Independence Day. The Municipal Service Center will be closed on July 4th & July 5th for all services. However, yard waste and brush may still be dropped off during the holiday hours.
Refuse and recycling will be collected as follows:
• Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday customers
o No change to collection schedule
• Thursday customers
o Refuse/garbage will be picked up on Wednesday, July 3rd – one day early.
o Recycling will be picked up on Friday, July 5th.
• Friday customers
o Refuse/garbage will be picked up on Monday, July 8th.
o Recycling will be picked up on Saturday, July 6th.
The Senior Center will be closed on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th. City Transit Buses will not operate on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th. Fond du Lac Public Library will be closed on Thursday, July 4th and open normal business hours on Friday, July 5th. As always, Police and Fire Departments will be fully operational throughout
the holiday period.
