Fond du Lac School District superintendent Dr. Jeff Fleig is on medical leave. School Board president Todd Schreiter announced at Monday night’s school board meeting that Dr. Fleig would not be in attendance due to a last minute conflict, but did not elaborate. Schreiter later sent an email to school district parents and staff stating that Dr. Fleig is on medical leave as of Monday and that Fond du Lac School District Chief of Schools Matt Steinbarth will serve as acting superintendent in Dr. Fleig’s absence.
