The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a fatal head on collision between a box truck and SUV that claimed the life of a Fond du Lac woman. The victim has been identified as 61 year old Sherryl Lynch of Fond du Lac. Investigators say Lynch was northbound on Lakeshore Drive near Subway Road Monday afternoon when her SUV crossed the center line striking a box truck head on. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver, 51 year old David Fuller from Appleton, received minor injuries. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s captain, Chris Randall, says investigators are trying to determine why the SUV veered across the center line. The victim was not wearing a seatbelt. Lakeshore Drive between Subway and Kinker Roads was closed for approximately four hours.
