A new employee retention and exit data survey shows a growing number of staff leaving the Fond du Lac School District in the last few years. Fond du Lac School District superintendent Dr. Jeff Fleig says he is concerned about the District’s employee retention rate. Dr. Fleig says the District retention rate is down two percent from a year ago. Sixty nine teachers resigned this past year compared to 41 the year before. The survey found that staff who left the district cited a variety of reasons, but stress of the job was the biggest factor.
