The Department of Public Works would like inform the motoring public of the two week closure of North Marr Street at Merrill Avenue. The closure will be in place Monday, July 15 and remain closed until the end of day Friday, July 26. The closure will be in place to allow the utility contractor complete permanent pavement restoration from sewer work completed in conjunction with the Marquette Street reconstruction project. The traffic detour is westbound on Division Street to northbound Main Street.
The Department of Public Works would like to inform the motoring public the one-day complete closure of West Scott Street between Temperance Street and Madison Street. The closure will begin Tuesday, July 16 at 0700 and remain in place until the end of day Tuesday. Scott Street will re-open to two-way traffic at the end of day; however eastbound traffic will be restricted to one lane until Monday, July 22. The closure will be in place to allow the water utility to replace and restore a water service on West Scott Street. The signed detour is Hickory Street – Johnson Street – Main Street – Scott Street.
