7-17-24 two shooting suspects arrested in fdl following high speed chase

Two people from Milwaukee and Green Bay were arrested following a high speed chase in Fond du Lac County.  Shortly before 7:30pm Monday the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office received a report of that a driver of a UHaul truck involved in an armed robbery and shooting incident in Omro was southbound on Interstate 41 heading toward Fond du Lac.   A Sheriff’s deputy clocked the vehicle at 100 miles an hour on southbound 41 near Lone Elm Road.  The vehicle ran over stop sticks on the Interstate and the vehicle eventually exited at Johnson Street coming to a stop at Rolling Meadows Drive where the driver and passenger were taken into custody.
