Public Information Message East Division Street Closure: The Department of Public Works would like to inform the motoring public the one-day complete closure of East Division Street between Park Avenue and Everett Street . The closure will begin Monday, July 22 at 0700 and remain in place until the end of day Monday. The closure will be in place to allow the water utility to replace and restore a water service on East Division Street.

Pioneer Road – Martin Avenue to CTH V
Schedule: April 24 through September 28, 2024
Description: The WI Dept of Transportation, along with Fond du Lac County, and the City of Fond du Lac awarded this project to Vinton Construction. Construction includes common excavation, sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer,  concrete sidewalk and curb & gutter, an asphalt pedestrian path and roadway, traffic signals & roadway lighting, permanent signing, and other incidentals.
July 22 to July 26: The contractor continue roadway grading operations on CTH VV and also on Martin Ave.
Traffic Impacts: Pioneer Road (CTH VV) is closed to through traffic for the duration of the project.
Detour is as follows: Park Avenue to 9th Street to FDL Avenue to CTH V and vice versa

Rees Street – Main Street to Marquette Street
Marquette Street – Merrill Avenue to Johnson Street
Schedule: April 15 through October
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
July 22 to July 26: Private side contractor will begin work behind walk.
Traffic Impacts: Rees Street and Marquette Street are closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction
zone during working hours. There will be a signed detour for a portion of E. Merrill Avenue/ N. Marr Street work as part of this project.

Ledgeview Avenue – Amory Street to N. Park Avenue
Schedule: May 2024 through August
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
July 22 to July 26: Contractor will finish storm sewer main installation and begin storm sewer laterals
Traffic Impacts: Ledgeview Avenue will be closed to vehicle and resident foot traffic from Amory Street to N. Park Avenue until August 2024. Residents, business owners, and customers should find an alternate route. Parking is not permitted in the project area as the road is closed.

W. 9 th Street – Bridge to Linden Street
Schedule: June 2024 through September
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
July 22 to July 26: Contractor will continue with storm sewer main installation. They will begin sanitary main
installation later in the week.
Traffic Impacts: W. 9 th Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working
hours.

S Military Road – CN Railroad Tracks to Hickory Street
Schedule: July 2024 through November
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
July 22 to July 26: The tree removal contactor will be removing terrace trees.
Traffic Impacts: S Military Road is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working
hours.
