The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal two vehicle head on collision in Fond du Lac County. The Sheriff’s Office says 19 year old Victor Martinez of Pharr, Texas was killed when he lost control of his car on a curve on Highway D, overcorrected, and struck a northbound vehicle. The crash happened shortly after 7:30 am Thursday. Martinez was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers received minor injuries. The driver of the northbound car, a 48 year old Oakfield woman, was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
