A Fond du Lac man wanted in connection to several ongoing criminal investigations has been arrested. The 23 year old suspect was released from jail last December and was a person of interest in two thefts, a burglary and sexual assault. Saturday, July 20, police officers spotted him on his bicycle near Hamilton Park. A foot chase ensued and he was able to get away. Monday morning officers were continuing to search for the suspect when they located him outside a residence in the 100 block of Hamilton Place. As officers approached the suspect he quickly entered a side door of the residence. Police sayt the occupants of the home were not cooperative. A perimeter was set with the assistance of the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office and one of their K-9 units. FDLPD also deployed the Technology Response Group to utilize a drone. After about 90 minutes of negotiations he surrendered and was arrested without incident.
