Workers laid off from Mercury Marine and Charter Communications in Fond du Lac had an opportunity to find new employment at a Job Fair Wednesday. The Fox Valley Workforce Development Board hosted a Job Fair at Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac. Last month Merc announced 300 layoffs and last week announced 1700 partial layoffs. Spectrum Charter is laying off 150 employees at it’s Fond du Lac Call Center.
