The Ripon Area Community Theatre (RACT) is proud to present, “The Wizard of Oz,” August 16-18. Featuring a large cast of area talent, join us and see the classic tale of Dorothy Gale, as she and her faithful pet Toto find themselves in the magical land of Oz. Follow Dorothy as she travels the Yellow Brick Road, meeting new friends in the form of the Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion; evading the clutches of the Wicked Witch of the West and trying desperately to meet the wonderful Wizard of Oz, in the hopes that he might help Dorothy get home. After all, there is no place like home. Performances are Friday, August 16th at 7pm; Saturday, August 17th at 2pm and 7pm; and Sunday, August 18th at 2pm, in the Ripon High School Auditorium, 850 Tiger Dr, in Ripon. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for Ages 6-18, and ages 5 and under are free. There will be concessions and a 50/50 raffle during intermission, which helps support RACT productions.
