8-5-24 high speed motorcycle chase

Still shot of the motorcycle from the squad car dash camera

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a motorcycle operator involved in a high speed chase. The chase started shortly after 7pm Saturday on Highway 175 northbound near Fox Ridge Drive and continued on Highway 151 at speeds of 130 miles an hour.  The Deputy did have his emergency lights and siren activated. The suspect drove over a median crossover on Highway 151 to continue to evade the Deputy, and then continued on STH 151 northbound and exited on to Hickory Street. The suspect continued on to Hickory Road southbound into the Town of Byron with speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.  The suspect was last seen on County Highway B westbound approaching County Highway D. The Deputy terminated the pursuit at Hickory Road and Highway B.  The pursuit lasted approximately 6 miles.  It is believed this motorcycle also eluded a Deputy at County Highway F and County Highway W in the Town of Eden around 1:00pm Saturday.  The motorcycle appears to be a black colored Yamaha with red accents.  The operator was wearing dark colored clothes, helmet and a backpack.   Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office.
