8-27-24 fdl stalking case scheduled to go to trial this fall

A jury trial is scheduled for this fall for a Fond du Lac man accused of breaking into occupied homes while people were sleeping…in one instance, hiding under a bed.  Forty seven year old Seth Menominee  is scheduled to go on trial starting October 7th on 20 counts including Stalking,  Attempted Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Lewd and Lascivious Behavior, Invading Privacy and Disorderly Conduct.   Police Chief Aaron Goldstein says Menominee is accused of breaking into occupied homes on Bischoff Street, Roosevelt Street,  East Scott and Taft Streets in June.   According to a criminal complaint in one instance Menominee entered through an unlocked screen door, and was found hiding under a bed. Goldstein says it’s a reminder to keep your doors locked at night.  Menominee is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on $200,000 cash bond.  He’s due back in court  September 4th for a plea and sentencing hearing.
