The Fond du Lac Women’s Chorus will begin rehearsals on Monday, September 9, 7pm at Refinery Bible Church (formerly Memorial Baptist Church) 645 Forest Avenue, Fond du Lac. Founded in 1949, The Fond du Lac Women’s Chorus will be entering its 75th year of entertaining audiences in Fond du Lac and surrounding areas. Two concerts are performed annually: their holiday concert which is held in December and their spring concert which is held in May. May of 2025 will mark the 75th anniversary of the first concert which was held by The Fond du Lac Women’s Chorus which was Mothers Day of 1950. The Chorus also performs at nursing home, assisted living facilities, and other venues per request. Any woman post high school age is welcome to join the chorus. Rehearsals run from 7-8:30 on Monday evenings beginning the week after Labor Day. The fall session is spent preparing for their holiday concert. The Chorus takes a break following the holiday concert until the first Monday in February when they resume rehearsals for their spring concert. No auditions are required. The Fond du Lac Wonen’s Chorus is under the direction of Zachary Ball with Priscilla Ehlert as accompanist.
