Pioneer Road – Martin Avenue to CTH V

Schedule: April 24 through September 28, 2024

Description: Construction includes common excavation, sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, concrete sidewalk and curb & gutter, an asphalt pedestrian path and roadway, traffic signals & roadway lighting.

September 9 to September 13: The contractor will continue to pour sidewalks and driveway aprons. The bike trail will be graded and S Martin Ave will be paved with concrete pavement.

Traffic Impacts: Pioneer Road (CTH VV) is closed to through traffic for the duration of the project.

US 45 Improvements in Fond du Lac County

Location/limits: US 45 from Scott Street in the village of North Fond du Lac to the North County Line in the town of Friendship, Fond du Lac County

Schedule: August 26 th to Early November

Description of work: The work under this contract shall consist of asphalt paving, beam guard replacement, culvert replacement, pavement marking, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract.

September 9 to September 13: Crews will continue working on replacing cross culverts and driveway culverts along US 45 and grading at various beam guard locations.

Traffic impacts: US 45 is open to traffic. Work will be conducted under lane closures with flagging operations.

2024 Mill &  Overlay Program

Schedule: August 26 through Mid-September

Description: The project includes manhole adjustments, spot curb and gutter replacement, milling pavement, and overlay of asphalt.

Project Locations:

 West Cotton Street from Brooke Street, west to Dead End

 West McWilliams Street from Brooke Street, west to Dead End

 Wisconsin American Drive from Johnson Street, south to Aurora Urgent Care Entrance

o Resurfacing will occur in two phases to allow for continued traffic to businesses/property owners

located on Wisconsin American Drive and Lynn Avenue

2024 Seal Coating Program

Schedule: August 26 through August 30

Description of work: The work will include placing a mixture of liquid asphalt and fine aggregate over the entire street. The application fills small cracks, cover minor road deterioration, and extend the life of the roadway. September 9 to September 13: The contractor will begin seal coating and continue through the week, weather pending. Streets not completed this week will be completed the following week.

Traffic impacts:  The streets will be closed to local traffic for periods of time. Parking will not be allowed on the street during the times of street cleaning and micro surfacing. Temporary “No Parking Signs” will be placed along the street.  Project Locations:

Rees Street – Main Street to Marquette Street

Marquette Street – Merrill Avenue to Johnson Street

Schedule: April 15 through October

Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.

September 9 to September 13: No work anticipated.

Traffic Impacts: Rees Street and Marquette Street are closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.

Ledgeview Avenue – Amory Street to N. Park Avenue

Schedule: May 2024 through August

Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.

September 9 to September 13: Restoration contractor will continue placing topsoil in terrace areas. Asphalt pavement might begin later in the week.

Traffic Impacts: Ledgeview Avenue will be closed to vehicle and resident foot traffic from Amory Street to N. Park Avenue until August 2024. Residents, business owners, and customers should find an alternate route. Parking is not permitted in the project area as the road is closed.

  1. 9 th Street – Bridge to Linden Street

Schedule: June 2024 through September

Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.

September 9 to September 13: Concrete contractor will continue concrete sidewalk and pavement.

Traffic Impacts: W. 9 th Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.

S Military Road – Superior Street to Hickory Street

Schedule: July 2024 through November

Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.

September 9 to September 13: Sanitary, Storm, and Water main installation will continue in the intersection of Hickory St. Sanitary and Water laterals will be installed on Military Rd. Jack and Bore Storm sewer under Railroad

Traffic Impacts: S Military Road is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours. There will be a signed detour route in place.

Bragg Street – Bell Street to Warner Street

Schedule: July 2024 through November

Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.

September 9 to September 13: No work anticipated.

Franklin Street – N. Hickory Street to Henry Street

Description: The project includes water main and lateral reconnections, roadway, and restoration/landscaping.

September 9 to September 13: No work anticipated.
