A convicted child sex offender is being released from custody and is residing in the Dodge County town of LeRoy. Sheriff Dale Schmidt says Garon Leitzke is a Chapter 980 sex offender and is now living at a residence on state Highway 49 in Brownsville. Schmidt says he objected to the location where Leitzke is being placed. Schmidt says the Sheriff’s Office will increase its presence in the area. He adds that any harrassment, threats or intimidation of Leitzke will not be tolerated.
