MADISON – Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation’s Promotion and Education Committee is hosting a one-day Leadership Boot Camp on October 26 at the Cranberry Country Lodge in Tomah.  The topic for this year’s Leadership Boot Camp is ‘Engaging Your Consumer Audience’. Attendees will learn how to build meaningful connections with their audience, engage consumers through targeted marketing and on-farm experiences as well as effectively promote consumer-focused activities.  “Connecting with consumers and sharing accurate information about agriculture is more important than ever,” said WFBF Promotion and Education Committee Chair Brenda Dowiasch. “I’m excited about the lineup of presenters on this topic and encourage any members who are passionate about promoting Wisconsin’s agriculture industry to attend.”   The Leadership Boot Camp is open to Farm Bureau members, including collegiate members. Registration is $20 and includes the training, refreshments and lunch.
