A tactical situation Sunday afternoon in Beaver Dam was quickly resolved without incident. A portion of Madison Street was shut down and residents were asked to shelter in place. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says about a half hour later the situation was resolved and the street was reopened. The Sheriff’s Office assisted Beaver Dam police at the scene.
