Development of the former UWO Fond du Lac campus continues to take shape. The Fond du Lac County Board has approved resolutions for a land sale and lease of office space on the campus. County executive Sam Kaufman says the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development will lease the former campus Dean’s Office space for five years. The board also approved the acceptance of an offer by CD Smith to purchase nearly 12 acres of vacant land for more than $2.4 million. Kaufman tells WFDL news he is also working with a local parochial school on a five year agreement to hold their events on the campus.
