One person was transported to the hospital following a fire that damaged a Fond du Lac residence. The lone occupant had escaped out of a second story window of the duplex when firefighters arrived early Tuesday morning at 247 Packer Street. The fire caused significant damage. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Fond du Lac Fire Rescue was assisted by North Fond du Lac EMS, Lamartine Fire Department, Town of Fond du Lac Fire Department, and Mt. Calvary Fire Department through use of the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System.
