A Fond du Lac-based volunteer animal rescue organization has been selected to participate in a live fundraising challenge by the Florida based organization Jordan’s Way. Jordan’s Way founder Kris Rotonda will be in Fond du Lac 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, to help Sandi Paws Rescue raise money to aid its efforts to serve the needs of rescue dogs and cats. Sandi Paws founder and CEO Vickie Timreck says the event will be livestreamed on Sandi Paws Facebook page, but the public is invited to the FDL County Fairgrounds Recreation Center to watch the event, learn more about Sandi Paws or donate. The evening will include a series of challenges featuring Sandi Paws volunteers. Teams will compete in fun events as donors, Sandi Paws alumni and community members sponsor their efforts.
