Donald Trump’s fourth stop in eight days in Wisconsin focused on the economy and immigration, and the former president highlighted a human trafficking case in Fond du Lac County.   Trump spoke Sunday afternoon at the Dodge County Airport in Juneau.  Trump told the crowd the story of a 12 year old girl who escaped from a vehicle earlier this year where a man had bound, blindfolded her and attempted to assault her.   The suspect had illegally immigrated to the U.S. from Nicaragua, was detained by the Border Patrol and later released.   “Today I make you this promise I will liberate Wisconsin and our entire nation from this mass migration, invasion of murderers, child predators, drug dealers, gang members, and thugs,”  Trump told the cheering crowd.   Trump received 65% of the vote in Dodge County in 2020.   Chairman of the Dodge County Republican Party, Jack Yuds, said  support for Trump is stronger in his part of the state than it was in  2016 or 2020.     “I can’t keep signs in,” Yuds said. “They want everything he’s got. If it says Trump on it, you can sell it.”   Wisconsin is perennially tight in presidential elections but has gone for the Republicans just once in the past 40 years, when Trump won the state in 2016. A win in November could make it impossible for Harris to take the White House.
