Hello Waupun!
It’s finally here, moving week!! Monday we’ll open the new Senior/Community Center. On Tuesday at 1pm will be my regular monthly town hall, and we’ll be at the new building. I hope you can make it out, get a city update, and check out the new building. This is an exciting development for Waupun, and both Mayor Nickel and I are proud to have played a small role in this project.
The Waupun Animal Shelter is in need of some help, and is hosting a “Cram the Van” Day on Saturday Nov. 9th 2024. This is taking place at both Piggly Wiggly and Tractor Supply from 10 am to 2 pm. Waupun is such a giving community. Homan Auto is donating a van to use that day because the shelter’s van is in very bad shape. The shelter is also in need of volunteers. And a perk is you get to pet dogs and cats all day! If you are willing, please pick up some animal supplies and donate them.
Early voting begins Monday. Remember early in-person voting will be at Waupun City Hall, but Election Day voting will be held at the new Senior/Community Center Building. This is because City Hall was struck by lightning and the elevator isn’t working correctly.
