Investigators say nothing has been ruled out following a fire that destroyed a house and several nearby structures in Fond du Lac County. Sheriff’s captain Chris Randall says the early Tuesday morning fire destroyed the 6,000 square foot home on Draeger Lane in the town of Forest, spreading to other nearby buildings. Randall says the cause of the fire remains under investigation and says nothing has been ruled out when asked if it was considered suspicious. Randall says the first step is determining where the fire started. The homeowner was not home at the time of the fire.
