More information is coming to light about a weekend shooting incident that sent a Fond du Lac man to the hospital. The shooting happened early Sunday morning in the parking lot of Hopper’s Screen Printing and the Fast Taco Restaurant on North Main Street. Police Chief Aaron Goldstein told WFDL news surveillance video shows a vehicle drive past a group of people in the parking lot. Goldstein says at least two shots were fired by the driver of the vehicle after he got into a physical fight with a group of people in the parking lot after rolling down his window and pointing a gun at them. Goldstein says a preliminary investigation shows at least some members of the group knew the shooter or a passenger in the vehicle, and the argument stemmed from a relationship involving a female. Police are continuing their investigation and are still asking anyone with information to call police. You can remain anonymous.
