Frozen waffles sold across popular US retailers are being recalled for possible Listeria contamination. Illinois-based manufacturer TreeHouse Foods has voluntarily recalled some of their frozen waffle products due to the potential for listeria contamination. Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says the frozen waffle products are sold at stores like Walmart and Target and include several brands such as Kodiak, Good & Gather and Simple Truth. Mueller says it seems like there have been several recalls for bacteria outbreaks recently. No confirmed reports of illness have been reported in relation to the products.
