Tracy Warner, an SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital 5 South medical/oncology certified nursing assistant, has been named the newest recipient of the BEE (Be Exceptional Everyday) Award. Warner was recognized by two colleagues for her many contributions to the medical/surgical team, as well as the patients and families the nursing area cares for.
“I have had the pleasure of working alongside Tracy for approximately the last 10 years. Throughout that time, she has consistently performed her duties at a high level. Tracy is the kind of individual who willing embraces any task asked of her and will put patient care as a top priority no matter how bush she may be with her other tasks. She embraces the opportunity to train new staff members, as well as being a dependable resource for other units. Her consistent work ethic, not a single experience, makes Tracy notable to be recognized for her excellent attitude and truly living the mission.” Another nomination shared: “Tracy is always a welcoming presence at the desk for anyone coming onto the unit. Tracy fields many calls throughout the day from those on other units looking for her expertise and knowledge. Tracy is one of the best team members I have ever had the privilege of working with. Besides her role at the desk, she continues to provide excellent care to our patients. She always has a smile on her face and a joke for patients to make them laugh.” The BEE Award is specifically designed to recognize non-nursing staff members who demonstrate great teamwork and communication skills, collaboration, professionalism, exemplary service, and a commitment to excellence.
