12-31-24 former ripon fire chief convicted of fraudulent use of district’s credit card

The former Ripon Area Fire District Chief  has been convicted and fined for fraudulently using the Fire District's credit card.    Tim Saul pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor counts of financial transaction card-use to defraud and was fined a total of $3,000 plus court costs.  According to a criminal  complaint Sault allegedly used an RAFD-issued credit card for personal expenses totaling over $30,000, although District Attorney Eric Toney says Saul paid […]

12-31-24 high speed chase-dodge county

A Madison man was arrested following a high speed chase in Dodge County.  The more than 16 mile long chase Sunday morning started in the town of Beaver Dam and continued southbound on Highway 151 at speeds in excess of 100 miles an hour. The chase ended in Dane County after the vehicle ran over tire deflation devices.  A 31 year old Madison man was taken into custody.
