Fond du Lac, WI – November 29, 2024 – Get ready for a festive day of fun and holiday cheer at the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac’s annual event, renamed this year as the Snowflake Spectacular! On Saturday, December 14, 2024, families are invited to experience the magic of the season with an exciting array of activities that are sure to delight children of all ages. From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the museum will be transformed into a winter wonderland filled with holiday-themed fun. Guests can cozy up with a warm cup of free hot cocoa or coffee, and enjoy free donuts made on-site by a popular local vendor, Sprinkles Mini Doughnuts. The museum will be buzzing with activity as children meet Santa Claus, and share their holiday wishes in the Gnewuch Family Flex Auditorium. The Festival Foods Cookie Shop will offer a hands-on opportunity for children to decorate their very own holiday cookies, while creative minds can craft a make & take project in Wagener’s Workshop. In addition to other festive activities, families will have the chance to write letters to Santa, which will be personally replied to with a response mailed back before Christmas. These holiday memories are offered in partnership with generous volunteers from the Service League of FDL and the Women’s Fund of FDL. While Santa will only be here until noon, families are encouraged to play in the museum throughout the day
and check out our annual Trees Around the World display decorated by area schools and organizations. The museum is open until 4:00 PM and cookies will be available to decorate while supplies last. Admission to the Snowflake Spectacular is free for members and $10 for non-members. No registration is required. The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac encourages families to arrive early as the event is expected to be a popular holiday tradition for years to come!
