The city of Waupun is celebrating the grand opening of a new community center. A dedication and grand opening was held Tuesday evening for the new Waupun Community Center. Waupun city administrator, Kathy Schlieve says the $5.8 million, 22,000 square foot facility was supported by $4.9 million in federal American Rescue Plan Act funds. The community center includes meeting rooms, fitness rooms, a gymnasium, kitchen, food pantry and REACH Waupun. The Center is located at 520 McKinley Street.
