The victim of a fatal two vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County this week has been identified. According to the state Patrol 59 year old Paul Moore of Waupun died after his van was struck by a semi on Highway 26 early Thursday morning. A preliminary investigation shows the semi crossed the center line of Highway 26 near Hickory Road striking a southbound van. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s captain Chris Randall says there were more than 40 crashes on snow-covered, slippery roads reported starting Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning.
