You can support Wisconsin’s economy by choosing local Christmas trees this holiday season. Greg Hann with the Wisconsin Christmas Tree Association says Christmas trees are harvested from over 800 tree farms in the state contributing $50 million in sales to the state’s economy. Wisconsin ranks 5th in the nation for Christmas tree production. Wisconsin tree growers harvest more than half a million trees every year.
