A Milwaukee man is in custody following a high speed chase in Fond du Lac. The chase started shortly after 4am Monday when a Sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for reckless driving northbound on Interstate 41 near Lost Arrow Road. The chase continued northbound on Interstate 41, with the vehicle exiting on Johnson Street in Fond du Lac, northbound on Peters Avenue, wesbound on Scott Street, and northbound on Rolling Meadows Drive when the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve south of County Highway OO, sliding down a steep shoulder. The driver and a passenger were arrested at gunpoint. The passenger was later released. The driver, a 37 year old Milwaukee man, had two outstanding warrants and was transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail.
