City offices in the City/County Government Center will close at noon on December 24th and December 31st and will be closed all day on December 25th and January 1st in
observance of the holidays. The Municipal Service Center will close for all services, including refuse and recycling collection and bulky waste drop off, at 11:00am on December 24th and December 31st and will be closed all day on December 25th and January 1st. There will be no refuse and recycling collection on December 25th or January 1st.
Refuse and recycling will be collected as follows:
• Refuse/garbage normally collected on Wednesday will be collected on Thursday (December 26th and January 2nd), one day late, along with the normal Thursday
collection. Please have your materials set out by 5:00 am on Thursday to accommodate the additional collections.
• Recycling collection, performed by Waste Management, will be collected one day late for all Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday customers during these two weeks. (Monday and Tuesday customers will not experience a delay.) Note: Yard waste and brush (and Christmas trees) may still be dropped off during the holiday hours.
Fond du Lac Area Transit will not operate on December 25th and January 1st.
The Senior Center will close at noon on December 24th and December 31st and will be closed all day on December 25th and January 1st.
The Main Fond du Lac Public Library will be closed all day on December 24th and December 25th for the Christmas holiday. It will close at 4:00pm on December 31st and
be closed all day on January 1st for New Year’s Day. Please go to www.fdlpl.org for information on other locations.
As always, the Police and Fire Departments will be fully operational throughout the holiday period.
