The Wisconsin Better Business Bureau has some resolutions for you for a fraud-free free new year. The BBB’s Lisa Schiller says at the top of the list is to resolve to be cautious with email. Schiller says never send money to strangers, resolve to do research before making online payments and purchases and use your best judgement when sharing your personal information. Other tips include creating strong, unique passwords for each account, enable two-factor authentication, and resolve to be social media smart.
