1-22-25 ripon man convicted in drug overdose death going to prison

A Ripon man convicted of providing  drugs that led to an overdose death is going to prison.  Twenty three year old Michael Manske has been sentenced to a year  in prison and five years extended supervision.  Manske earlier pleaded no contest to four counts including  first degree reckless homicide, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of THC and drug parapernalia.   Manske was one of five people charged in connection with the death of a man whose body was found on a sidewalk in Ripon in April 2023.
