A Fond du Lac man was seriously injured after he was struck by a vehicle. Shortly after 6pm Friday the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received multiple 911 calls about a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on West Johnson Street near Rolling Meadows Drive. A preliminary investigation shows a 67 year old Fond du Lac man was attempting to cross both eastbound lanes of traffic on Johnson Street on foot when he was struck by an SUV, operated by a 23 year old Fond du Lac man. The pedestrian was transported by ambulance to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with serious injuries.
